What's the Cat Lounge?
A long dream of ours is becoming a reality! The Cat Lounge is a free-roaming adoptable cat and kitten lounge run and operated by Community Cat Club. This public space will become another temporary, but comfortable foster home for the cats and kittens in our care. Visitors will reserve paid time slots to enjoy a comfortable, peaceful, and joyful opportunity to get to know our Community Cat Club rescues that are in need of homes. It will also host community events and can also be reserved for private gatherings.
How Will it Work?
Free-roaming cat adoption lounges offer a comfortable and enriching environment for Community Cat Club fosters. It's particularly invaluable and purposeful for our rescues that have been in foster care for an extended time without adoption interest. All cats and kittens will be thoroughly vetted, both medically and behaviorally to ensure they will thrive in these environments, and our volunteer experts will provide round-the-clock care to keep our feline visitors healthy and happy.
All human visitors will require a paid reservation made in advance. More information will be provided soon on the specifics of our visiting hours, reservation times, and fees. We will also have opportunities for community events, both free and paid, and the lounge will be available for private gatherings.100% of proceeds from reservations, events and any retail sales made in the Lounge go back into our rescue efforts, which includes : diverting thousands of cats and kittens from local shelters every year, providing medical care for our rescues, supplies for our foster parents, funding large scale TNR services across South Jersey, providing low-cost and no-cost medical care resources for financially insecure pet owners in Camden County, and more..
